</h2> Started up FF VII. Quite tired, so only played about an hour; but hey, in game time things took place around midnight and they went to sleep too, so hey. 1:03 Going straight from VIII to VII, the differences are magnified and obvious. VII's much more SNES-like presentation when it comes to the ol' blue background for text in field, menu, and battle. The lower quality FMV. The weirdness of having 2 completely different types of character models, and the weird clunkiness of the super deformed variety. The more synthy sounding instruments. Lack of (limited) analog control. The comparative lack of textures. Having to retrain my right index to not use Renzokuken. Also slightly lesser load times, and a slightly more lighthearted tone. Pizza: Is good.
