This game seems to get a lot of shit, but for my money it's the best of the post-SNES [[Mana]] games. The big thing is that from the action to the menu system, it just feels the most like them. It doesn't try to completely change the game structure, or bring in a nonlinear story and map creation, or become a dungeon crawler like so many of the other games past 1995.
