SPOILERS TOTAL. You've been warned.

201: Little Green Men 1994 September 16
So there's a Senator Richard Matheson in this episode. I wonder if the name was meant to be a reference to Richard Matheson, author of books like I Am Legend and Bid Time Return?

202: The Host 1994 September 23
Good old Flukeman. Again, I didn't remember them having so much success in finding proof of weird stuff. I mean, here they actually had custody of this strange thing for a while and ran tests on it--no room for a "you were just imagining things" type ending.

203: Blood 1994 September 30

205: Duane Barry 1994 October 14
And here we see aliens not disguised at all. But since it's in Duane's mind and may or may not be accurate, I suppose it isn't a proper reveal.
OK, so in this episode Scully takes an implant extracted from Duane and swipes it across a supermarket scanner, at which point the machine freaks out. Back in 1994 I thought this was so cool. Now I look at it and think BAR CODES DO NOT WORK THAT WAY. Bar codes are very simple things. A supermarket scanner designed for grocery-sized barcodes shouldn't be able to pick up anything microscopic from that bit of metal. And even if it did try to interpret it, it should just give some sort of "Unknown product" error rather than freaking the hell out.

206: Ascension 1994 October 21
Disappointed to see the magical "enhance" used to identify Scully through really low quality video footage. Less realistic than alien implants.
Cigarette Smoking Man says they shouldn't kill Mulder, because making him a martyr would inspire others. Really? As is, they managed to shut down the X-Files and cause his political allies to back off in fear. If he died in what appeared an innocent way, who would become the crusader? Additionally, Mulder gets into deadly situations all the time on this show. Is that not a problem? If the Flukeman had killed Mulder, would the Cigarette Smoking Man have been boned if someone thought he'd been murdered by conspirators? Should he be sending bodyguards with Mulder on all these dangerous cases to prevent that from happening?

207: 3 1994 November 4
The guy in the jail cell trying to back off from the approaching sunlight and the ensuing burning when he's inevitably exposed is one of the creepier things to be seen on this show.

208: One Breath 1994 November 11

209: Firewalker 1994 November 18
(First watched 2011-03-28, -29) This one feels a bit too much like an iceless Ice.
"Mulder, that is science fiction. It's it's some elaborate construct from a delusional mind." - Whoa there, Scully! Trying to write a blurb for the box art?

210: Red Museum 1994 December 9

211: Excelsis Dei 1994 December 16

"Almost reincarnation" is an interesting idea. Especially in that it allows the "almost reincarnated" version to interact with the original.

213: Irresistible 1995 January 13
What a weird episode. In that not only is it not a paranormal thing, but even Mulder thinks so right from the beginning. We keep seeing flashes of Pfaster as some sort of demon, like they're trying to trick us. I mean, if it was just used to accentuate the troubles in Scully's mind, okay, but they kept showing it in situations involving different people.

214: Die Hand Die Verletzt 1995 January 27
The Coriolis effect does not work that way! I bet this episode was a big boost in propagating that "info" about how water drains in different hemispheres. I know it got me back in the day.
Though it comes to gruesome effect here, the idea of "watered down devil worshipers" is kind of a funny one.
