There are many clones of Dr. Pepper out there. Usually easy to spot with names that have "Dr." or maybe a "Mr." in there. They're not all alike, though, so for reference I'd like to rank them here. | There are many clones of Dr. Pepper out there. Usually easy to spot with names that have "Dr." or maybe a "Mr." in there. Dr. Pepper is my favorite of the sodas.
There are many clones of Dr. Pepper out there. Usually easy to spot with names that have "Dr." or maybe a "Mr." in there. They're not all alike, though, so for reference I'd like to rank them here.
- Dr. Thunder: The Wal-Mart/Sam's Club brand. Formerly known as the evidently-not-Dr.-Pepper-sounding-enough Southern Lightning. A very good replacement considering the cheaper price.
- Dr. K: Kroger's brand. Slightly closer to Thunder than to Topper in quality.
- Dr. Topper: From Clover Valley; I see it in Dollar General stores. You recognize what they were going for, but also that they didn't get close enough.
