Note that there is some data which unfortunately falls through the cracks.  If I get a 2007 sales number for a 2006 game that I don't have the 2006-end value for, I can't calculate the new 2007 total.  Similarly if I get monthly sales for a game I don't have the total of just prior to the month's start, I can't calculate the new total either.  And in neither case does the combined yearly or monthly data allow anything to be gleaned about specific weekly data.  So it just doesn't get included.
