Well, who can look straight in my eye and tell me Zelda games are made and sell poorly? Exactly. The problem is, now it's hard to play all of them. The ones for SNES and GB aren't hard to find, but the first two are. And who would mind getting them with improvements?

My first thought was that A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening would use mainly the same graphics and such, because they're already so similar. But I got to thinking why not use many of the same graphics for all of them? The ones used in LttP and LA are just like the ones used in the original, only better. Part II was quite different, so it wouldn't use as much of the same. But the original could share many of the same bitmaps and such as the others. They could share much of the same music, too, such as the main theme. Now, just because I'm saying they use the same graphics and such doesn't mean I'm saying they should all use the same engine, sub-screen and stuff. Each game could easily have their own unique options while still using the same bitmaps.

Even if you wouldn't be inclined to get it due to the fact it's old games, what about the new one? Does anyone remember that earlier this year Nintendo had a Zelda game exclusively for their Satellaview in Japan? I don't recall many details, except that you played as Zelda, and it had many similarities to the other SNES one. I can't recall exactly what the subtitle was, but it was something like Black Tablet, unless my memory is totally going wacko, and that's a possibility.

And with Zelda 64 coming out soon, not to mention the later 64DD game, Zelda's popularity will rise again (yeah, I know, it's never truly down, but...), so this would be a good thing to sell alongside Zelda 64, and you'd have the whole set.

Only on Nintendo 64. Well, not counting that they were originally for other Nintendo systems, but you know what I mean! :)
