Somebody made some comment about how of course the low-tech entry level Wii was going to outsell PS3 and X360 for a while until things turned around.  So I made this graph showing the precedent for such an of course believe, though of course my N64 numbers are heavily heavily fake.

In regards to the "In terms of" comparison used mostly for Japanese sales.  Wii was setting a much higher pace than PSP, until both Wii slowed down and it hit the sales point at which PSP got a big boost with PSP-2000 and started losing ground.
