Note that there is some data which unfortunately falls through the cracks. If I get a 2007 sales number for a 2006 game that I don't have the 2006-end value for, I can't calculate the new 2007 total. Similarly if I get monthly sales for a game I don't have the total of just prior to the month's start, I can't calculate the new total either. And in neither case does the combined yearly or monthly data allow anything to be gleaned about specific weekly data.
