Straight lines and a simple dither scale up nicely.  If I wasn't sticking so close to the original, it would be pretty easy to get it looking even nicer with a better yellow-to-red fade rather than a plain strip of orange.

Mistake left for authenticity: the left side of the O is missing one red pixel from the "orange" section.  It looks more obvious in the larger versions, I think, as the other yellow pixels bordering it get filled with bits of red, leaving a more obvious square gap.  Another thing that would be easy to fix if you're just looking for a good image.

The Q is the one I'm least sure about here.  I usually treat Qs like Os with a line through them, but usually I can look at a game's original Q and see things like how wide that line should be.  Here it all smooshes together, so there was a bit of guesswork as to how exactly to make that line.  Also, the original only had any gap at the lower right side.  Replicating that exactly would've left a larger version of smooshed, so I made it a gap that narrows down as it goes further left.  End result isn't beautiful, but hey.

Modified October 11, 2011.  Blunted some of the pointier bits that were present in the Peat Peat version.
