That's cause YOU played it funny. Now it's my turn. My subjects generally = useless.

Watched MST3K. Played small bit of Rogue Leader (fulfilling my GC play for day; didn't get new medal or anything, though). Chet called, and a few hours later came over. We mostly bummed around, not doing much of anything. Chad called, too wanting to do SOMETHING. We couldn't all agree on anything, though, so Chad came over and we'd continue our discussion. More bumming and not figuring anything out ensued, and Chet went home. Chet didn't want to go to the mall, Chad did. I had no reason to go, but hey, not like I was doing anything else. Chad and my brother made me make the decision. If you're the type to be reading my journal I expect you may know how silly things occur, and my continued insistance at not making the decision got me locked outside. Of course, they weren't thinking of my key. It's for the expressions on their faces when I ran past them and into the basement that I wish I had a head-mounted camera. So we decide to go to Fort Wayne, and do so. Hour-ish drive later, we arrive. However, turns out the place closes at 9, not 10 as Chad had thought, so it's basically closing as we arrive. Bummer. We go to Toys R Us; it's open a half hour more, but there wasn't anything that drew our moneys; I did get a chance to play Super Mario World on GBA, using Luigi even. From the smile on my face and the tone of voice when I just saw it there, I know I'm still in love with that game. General comment on how their games were set up: crazy things that basically push the entire lot forward. So taking something, checking out the back, and putting it back could be a pain; an employee was cruising around and would correct mistakes. Chad got a bit miffed after he'd given up on one and said "Well then, I just won't bother with that one." and the guy came up behind with "But I will.", but I think Chad just needs to mellow a tiny bit. From there we went to Borders. I think I might've been there once before, for like 10 seconds or something. We were there for an hour or so, though. It's like On Cue, but without sucking and a much better selection. I saw several MST3K DVDs, but then one that really scared me: The Girl in the Gold Boots. Yes, today's MST3K movies, but by itself. "Cult classic" my ass. With the moneys I had, I had mostly narrowed it down to two choices: A) Getting both of the Bill & Ted movies, or B) Getting the first bigass volume of the Akira manga. Both choices were $25-ish. Then I saw that they had The Awful Truth. Groovy groovy show from Michael Moore, and the 12 episodes of the second season were $35-ish, so I went for it. Mah first DVD(s), Cletus! K-Flex the congressional pimp rocks my world. Current Mood: amused Original
