MobyGames is one of my favorite web sites.  I've long been a fan of game credits, and hoped to someday start the gaming equivalent of [[IMDb]].  I wasn't the only one with such aspirations, however, and ran across MobyGames before I could do much of anything with the assorted game credits I'd transcribed into text.  At the time I was bummed that I'd been beaten to the idea, and figured anything I had was simple enough that others had probably already entered it into the site.  However... I eventually found that not to be the case.  Getting over my jealousy, I decided making a notable contribution to the site was the next best thing to having started it (and truly a much smaller pain in the ass), so I joined the site in late 2003.  After running out of my initial batch of credits to contribute I went to such things as scanning my games, though this went at a slower pace.  In early 2007 I became one of the many approvers for the site; even if I had nothing to put in the site I could still help on the back end of things to make a contribution of a different kind.

My MobyGames history

MobyGames is one of my favorite web sites.  I've long been a fan of game credits, and hoped to someday start the gaming equivalent of IMDb.
