Allow me to complain about the way Yahoo Briefcase saves pictures. It also makes a smaller (in size) version. Now, bad 1 is that its a permanently saved preview picturel. So when I put up a 640x480 JPEG, not only does it count against my space the 61 KB original image, but also the 480x360, 29 KB version. Its even worse if it's a GIF or something, because then it's easily possible the lesser-resolutioned JPEG version it saves will be several times the size of the original, blech. Anyway, go view some. <a>Me Yahoo Briefcase</a>. In the Misc folder, Mar10_03.jpg is some candy I got the other day. But not just any candy: Mario Kart 64 candy. How it was specifically Mario Kart 64 candy and thus to be found at the mart 5 years later, I don't know. 2001 copyright, though. Next, be sure not to miss folder Peanut. My responses thus far have literally been "WTF is that ?", "Am I missing the point here?", and "...tf?". I had a train of thought, and as in FF VII, there ain't no gettin' off this train we're on. Well, except for the several times in the game when you in fact get off of trains. Anyway: I move my GameCube around often. The handle was built for me. When I've packed the bugger up, I've tended to stick it in a hat or something to help fend off little scratches and what have you. I figured: if I do that so much, why not make something specifically for that purpose? Hey, we have some Mr. Peanut material. And this is the culmination. I traced out about the right shape, cut it out (making a mistake here which I'll mention in a bit), sewed up the sides, and viola. The handle part was where it was all supposed to come together: each of the 4 sides would have a top part; then they'd all overlap, thus completely covering the Cube (other than handle), and still easy to handle if need be. However, when I was cutting from my traces, I accidentally took a turn in my cutting where I wasn't supposed to, so one of the top parts didn't make it. I figured I could always attach that later if really necessary. The other thing is, though, it just doesn't work very well. Being just a loose sheet-like material, there's a bit of range of movement as to how all things could be situated. And thus it's not easy to make a proper hole for handle. And it gets all bunched up and stuff, as you can see in images such as Topped and Holding. But oh well. If I ever do something like this again I have some experience to work with. I'm still trying to think up a good way to completely cover the thing up without having a messy intersection like the handle side is currently. And I'm fairly confident it will slightly protect from slight scratches. And it's Mr. Peanut skinning my GameCube. C'mon. <a>Original</a>
