-(First watched 2009-02-02, -03, ) &nbsp;So as the viewer might guess but Vicki and the Doctor do not, Steven has got on board the TARDIS. &nbsp;He doesn't believe he's really traveling through time yet, but he's stuck with them so I guess he will soon enough. &nbsp;Interesting that though they're in the past, weird things are clearly afoot. &nbsp;A monk having a wristwatch stolen from him? &nbsp;The monastery filled with fake singing thanks to a phonograph? &nbsp;So not kosher for the year 1066. &nbsp;Based on the episode titles and a bit of general series knowledge I've come across I think I know a bit of where this is coming from, but it's still quite interesting to see.

+It seems like Vicki/Steven and the Doctor will just keep traveling back and forth from the shore to the monastery forever without bumping into each other. &nbsp;So I figured the monk had a TARDIS, but it's pretty novel seeing one with an actual working chameleon circuit. &nbsp;Crawl under a lectern, and bam into a control room! &nbsp;So what the heck is the monk up to? &nbsp;He's got some sort of atomic cannon in place. &nbsp;Take out the vikings... to what end?
