(First watched ) | (First watched ) So awesome. Back in 1999 Jar Jar was perhaps not the greatest thing in [[Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace|Episode I]], but he got SO MUCH SHIT from people. This followed up by very much smaller roles in the following movies, any initial annoyance is pretty much in the past. That being the case, it's pretty cool to see the first significant Jar Jar adventure in 9 years, and this show is a pretty great format. A silly episode can largely center on him, without him having to be trailing along with the heroes all the time. As he was already a CG character, he fits well in a more fully and exaggerated CG world. Add to that that he and Threepio make a pretty funny duo.
The accidental destruction of the ship and Jar Jar's face immediately afterward is priceless.

(First watched ) | (First watched 2010-09-14) Along with his usual lucky bungling Jar Jar actually makes some wise moves this episode. But I'm afraid the fact that unlike his previous episode he wasn't voiced by Ahmed Best just made it all seem terribly weird. From the movies to Robot Chicken to The Colbert Report to even earlier this season his voice had been so consistent.
