Wow. As a rushed ending I was expecting a cliffhanger leading into Ark of Truth, but instead they gave a great character episode with a good sci-fi premise. The Pegasus Project was fun for its Atlantis crossover and 200 was a huge laugh, but as its own episode I think this is my favorite of the season.
I guess this does share some similarities to [[Stargate SG-1 Season 8|Season 8's Moebius]] in that a sort-of-alternate SG-1 is lost to set time right and leave a valuable asset gained: then the ZPM, now the entire knowledge of the Asgard race. Poor Asgards... nice callback to a much earlier episode with their acknowledgment that humanity is the fifth race.
For a reset button episode, though, they sure left a lot more changed than normal. Teal'c retains all of the memory and aging; he's older than Bra'tac now! I wonder what it was like for him to return to his "normal" life. For everyone else it was like nothing, but for him the time spent on the Odyssey was several times as long as the entire time he's spent as a member of SG-1. How strange it must be for him to be able to be reunited with his friends and family who he hasn't seen in decades, but for them nothing has happened. I wonder if they'll keep his white patch for the movies, or if they'll make him a bit vain and cover it up?
